Living space in the southern Styrian vineyards. The vineyard haven in a vineyard location stands out with exquisite architectural planning by Viereck Architekten and impresses with an elegant, weathered facade made of Mareiner Piz Nair panels.

Even in Styria, there are regions—the mountainous ones—where the thermometer in winter dips far below freezing. It’s easy to be seized by a longing for the south. And even if it’s just the vineyards in the southern part of our state, where the sea no longer feels too far away. One of the longing places in this longing region is a small refuge in a vineyard location, transformed from a dilapidated hut by Ewald Viereck and his colleagues at Viereck Architekten. With plenty of Mareiner wood, for which we applied a sleek band-saw cut to the local larch facade and elegantly weathered it.
